At Anavah Christian Counseling, our team doesn’t deal with the tough issues of life by offering easy answers—instead, we aim to bring the deep and meaningful hope found in God to the real struggles our clients are going through. Jessica Wiseman
M.A., LPC, CCTCP-II
Jessica is the owner and founder of Anavah Christian Counseling. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider Level 2, and specializes in Trauma Informed Biblical Counseling with couples, families and individuals. Jessica is a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors, and has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity struggles, abuse, infertility, foster care and adoption, and trauma.

Jessica and her husband, Lincoln, were married in November of 2013 and have two children. Their journey to growing their family has included both adoption and In Vitro fertilization. Jessica has worked in the Foster Care and Adoption field, serving children in the foster care system needing a forever home, parents desiring to grow their families through adoption, parents needing resources to prevent removal of their children from the home, and biological families desiring to make an adoption plan for their baby.
She has also served and lived briefly overseas in South Sudan, Africa, creating and facilitating discipleship groups in rural villages, teaching the Bible, and equipping the locals to do the same. In addition to this, she has also worked on staff at her church in multiple positions, and has since served in leadership roles with the Foster + Adoption, Community Groups, and Women’s Ministries.
When she's not in the office, you can likely find her in her garden, with her chickens or llamas, enjoying a good meal with her husband or friends, playing MarioKart with her children or working out at F45!
Jessica has a heart for walking with people through their darkest moments, offering the compassion and care of Jesus along the way. She would be honored to meet with you.
